Consecutively for the sixth time, Alaskan Airlines wins the title of the top spot in on-time performance among the nine largest U.S. carriers. As the statistics, its 90.4 percent on-time ratio as compared to its followers AirTran Airways (89.8%) and Delta Airlines (88.7%) made rank first in October too. Southwest Airlines again ranked last among the group based on FlightStats data, with on-time performance of 74.6%.
So next time when you book airline tickets for your business travel, pay attention towards the on-time performance by the cheap flights available. Always take the first flight out, if you are flying the same day of business meeting.
