They were inexpensive, but they are cheep and do not operate well. The lock is hard to turn with the key and the hasp will not relock easily. I put a touch of lube on them work a lttle better, but poor quality.Save your money buy a better product.

these are OK
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
These locks are OK, but not very sturdy. The 4 locks and keys are exact replicates, so any of the 4 keys would work on the locks.

I ordered these thinking they would be the blue ones shown on the photo. Read the fine print. I got pink locks. I don’t want pink, now I am stuck paying $11.99 + shipping and handling because to return them would not be cost effective and there is no guarantee that I would get the color I would like. What a stupid thing.

What’s the Point
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
We’ve used these locks on a couple of trips and they work fine. But on a trip this week one of my bags arrived without its lock. Our “friends” at the TSA decided to inspect the contents and didn’t want to be bothered to use their key–they just cut off the lock. What’s the point of buying TSA-accepted locks if they are just going to cut them off?

Don’t buy because of the nice look…
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
Please don’t buy this product. I bought it and each lock fell apart into pieces without any force. The key inserting part came out with the key. Go for the regular good old brass locks. I gave 1 star because I cannot review without stars. no stars for this product.

I just got these locks today, and as soon as I took them out of the package they literally fell apart. I tried to unlock them (’cause they came locked), and a lot of small pieces started falling off. I gave it a one star rating, because I had to in order to write the review, but these locks are not even disposable, they’re garbage! I wouldn’t recommend them to anybody!

Great looking, but one did break…
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Not sure why, but I returned from a trip with a broken lock. Not sure if it’s because the lock was defective or because the airport abused it. I had only used it twice before…

4 pack ,but only two goods.
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
I thought i had bought the best locks in the world to feel secure when i travel and i do feel secure they are very good locks but out of the four only two works one bottom part felt on my hand right out of the package the other one the key don’t work for nothing in the world, so i ended up paying to much for two locks.

I was excited when these arrived. Small, but look much more solid than other luggage type locks. The first lock I opened was somewhat aggravating. When you try to lock it again, the key must be turned to the unlock position otherwise it will not seat all the way in to lock. The second lock I opened came apart literally in my hands. The key pulled the entire internal lock mechanism out. With it, all of the key pins fell all over the floor. Absolute garbage. Would not recommend for even the slightest bit of security.

Not Worth the time or money
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
My 14 year old daughter broke the one I gave her to show her how to unlock and lock them. If they break that easily, then why even bother putting them on luggage. The locks are cheaply made and virtually worthless. I’m replacing them with Samsonite locks that have a five star rating.

Good Price & Practical Use
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I use locks for frequent traveling. I keep my luggage and backpack locked as often as needed when abroad. For my most recent trip last month I used this set of padlocks and they served their purpose well. Pros: All 4 locks are the same color, they’re not typical colors so they’re easier to spot. All 4 locks share the same key, and the set comes with 4 keys (I leave on at home just in case) so the rest of the family can unlock and lock their own luggage as needed. Cons: They’re small, but they’re fine for locking luggage. They’re also a little bulky for a small lock. Pro/Con: It only locks with the key. This helped me remember if I had locked them, this also made sure I had the key and didn’t misplace it. Con, it’s a bit annoying to lock when in a hurry. I would purchase another set if needed.

I purchased this for a trip, back in December of 2008′ and it worked great. I recommend this to anyone that needs this item for traveling, etc. Keep up the good work. Thanks.

Poorly designed
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
The Master Lock 4689Q TSA Accepted Padlocks extremely difficult to lock and very small. The locking mechanism in one of them actually came apart when I tried locking it. I had to scramble to pick up tiny metal balls and spring that flew out before my dog would eat them. Master is a well known and respected brand and I am disappointed these locks are not made from the strength and quality we have come to expect from Master.

The locks were cute and easy to use. Will definitely purchase another set when needed. 🙂

One key opens all
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
It’s great if you have more than two luggage. Just bring one key and you can use it on every lock. The other three can be used as spare keys. Put one in you carry-on, one in your pocket, and one at home.

Pink Padlock…

Good padlock. If you don’t care about the pink one, it’s good and well made.

Pink and one broken one.. but otherwise, not bad for the money..
Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I bought two sets for an upcoming trip. I could have sworn I bought blue, but I was given two pink sets… Oh, well – I’m secure enough to carry around pink locks on my luggage! 🙂

The only down side is that on one of the eight locks, the bottom part of it fell off in my hand right out of the package… when you unlock the lock, down the locking hole, there is a tiny phillips srew that is used to secure the button colored metal onto the upper locking metal – as much as I tried, I couldn’t get the bottom to re-attach, the screw hole was stripped from the manufacturer.

It’s not really worth sending back all four, for one bad lock – I’m going to try and super glue it.

Can’t choose the colour?
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I’d love to order a couple sets of these…however, I don’t think I would ever stop hearing from my coworkers if I showed up with pink locks on my luggage. Is it REALLY that difficult to allow people to choose the colour? I do own one of these same locks I bought at an airport for $5; well worth the extra cost to avoid getting a bizarre colour. I’m sure they would sell far more of these if you were given a choice.

great locks

Now I won’t have to worry about my luggage being opened. These locks will ensure privacy but the airlines can still check my luggage.

Excellent price for decent little locks. No, they’re not going to keep out anyone who is truly determined to get in your bags. However, they should be enough deterrent to keep casual burglars away. I know that I felt much better on a recent trip with these on my bags.

Of course, as with any “random color shipped” purchase, you’re going to get the color you don’t want. For me, that meant I got the pink ones. Fortunately, the color is somewhat muted so they don’t stand out too much or look overly silly on my manliest-of-men luggage.

No Problems
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We had no problem with the locks that we purchased. The TSA never had to check the contents, but the locks worked well. It was especially convenient that they were all keyed the same way.

Read the fine print
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I ordered these locks because I liked the blue/silver look pictured. However, I failed to read the fine print which said that the color choice of the locks was random and could not be requested. Had I known that the locks I was buying were not the blue locks pictured, but rather pink locks, I would not have purchased them! Now I am stuck with them, as returning them would cost half the purchase price in shipping alone, and exchanging them is not an option since there would be no way of knowing what color would come next.

If color doesn’t matter to you, then perhaps these are for you. HOWEVER, if you want to know what you are paying for will actually look like what is pictured, buy these from someone else!

Good value
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
I’m very glad I bought these locks. They are a good value and made me feel much more secure about my luggage. The only reason for the 4 stars was that they were a bit too small.
